Red Oak Compliance (“Red Oak”) is at the forefront of compliance software for the financial services and insurance industries. Serving over 1,800 firms worldwide, from single-state advisors to over half of the top 20 asset managers, ROC’s suite of 17(a)-4/WORM compliant solutions boosts process efficiency, minimizes regulatory risk, and controls costs.
Objectives of the Role:
As the Senior Financial Analyst at Red Oak, you play a key role in ensuring we make sound financial decisions. You are the right-hand person to the CFO, translating complex data into actionable insights across all parts of the business. You’ll be making recommendations on a variety of topics to leaders across the business backed by thoughtful analysis. Given the fast-moving nature of our business, you’ll be asked to wear multiple hats and participate in a wide variety of projects, including requests driven by Board of Directors. Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Operational Finance Partner for the leadership of the company
- Lead the annual planning process in conjunction with CFO
- Own and improve the financial reporting package for the CEO and the Board
- Own and run ad-hoc financial projects for CEO, CFO, and the Board
- Key role in M&A, spanning from due diligence and integration to executing against the forecast
- Partner closely with Rev Ops to drive ARR and Revenue insights to drive improved performance
- Play a key role in updating our back-office tech stack including analyzing and identifying necessary planning tools, system integrations, and other technological enhancements
Skills/Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of experience in FP&A or a related function, working cross-functional across departments. Previous investment banking or private equity experience preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degree or certification (CFA, MBA, etc.) preferred
- Technical skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with strong data and financial modeling skills

Work Structure

Red Oak is looking for a spirited Talent Acquisition Specialist to discover and draw in talent from the Austin area to join our expanding and vibrant team.
As we rapidly scale from 50 to 250 employees over the next 3-5 years, we need someone with proven experience in high-growth environments who can ensure quality while driving expansion. The ideal candidate is both assertive and personable, deeply understands our culture, vision, and environment, and can compellingly articulate why joining Red Oak is a fantastic opportunity.
WHAT DOES SUCCESS LOOK LIKE:
Success means being a go-getter with a fantastic attitude, collaborating closely with each hiring manager and department head to fully understand the role and identify the most important candidate characteristics. Talent Acquisition Specialists should act as brand ambassadors, ensuring that candidates see the company as an attractive place to work.

- Foster relationships with candidates through sharing valuable content, and networking events.
Attracting Candidates
- Personalized Outreach that addresses their skills, background, and career goals.
- Highlight Unique Value Propositions like exciting projects, cutting-edge technology, and career growth.
- Engage in Authentic Conversations, asking about their aspirations and pain points.
- Stay Connected with candidates for future opportunities, even if the time is not right now.
JOB DUTIES
- Research, recommend, deploy, and manage your preferred Applicant Tracking System.
- Define the interview process for candidates, including role-specific assessments.
- Assist and train hiring managers with interviewing techniques and evaluation strategies.
- Coordinate interviews, follow up communications, offer letters and negotiations to ensure a smooth and engaging end-to-end process.
- Collaborate with the People team on job titles, levels, salary ranges, etc.
- Clearly articulate the full compensation package, including benefits, flexible PTO, 401k matches, etc.
- Refine an existing onboarding schedule that allows cohort groups to join for a multi-day orientation program.
- Advocate for candidates, addressing any hesitations the hiring team may have.
- Participate in other People Ops projects and activities as-needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field OR a combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of experience leading recruitment efforts in a high-growth environment
- Familiarity with talent acquisition metrics and experience producing weekly dashboards
- Established network with existing relationships in Austin preferred
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Capacity and desire to learn and apply new information to building and improving this function
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Highly collaborative and patient, with a generally positive demeanor
- Able to work effectively with a diverse group of ROCstar personalities
